Keeping Up in High Heels
In “Stepping up in High Heels”, three successful professional women share their testimonies as to how God was able to move in their lives when they surrender everything to him. They wanted to show that no matter what we do or what our season is in our lives, we can be confident that God will be faithful with what He has started in our lives.
First one to share her story was actress and TV host, Donita Rose. She told of how she was able to experience the unconditional love of God. She recounts the many times God turned her wrong decisions into a life of purpose filled with joy and blessings. Her testimony is an encouragement that God is able to set the course of our lives if we completely surrender to Him.
The next to share her story is businesswoman, Marilyn Orosa. She is the owner of Studio 5, a graphic firm that has redesigned our nation’s new bank notes. Even if God has used her to change the destiny of our nation, her personal life is scarred with tragedy, as she has been widowed twice. But despite that, she is a woman who has found a joy that goes beyond all understanding. Her testimony glorifies God’s favor and strength.
The last person to share was Singaporean business consultant, Rachel Ong. A senior partner at ROHEI Corporation, she shares her story as to how her love for God is demonstrated in outward expression through her heart and compassion for people. She is now making an impact in the lives of the Singaporean youth through Tribe, an NGO, where she serves as a board member. She encourages the audience to seek God, wait on Him and love others.
We can see that God has created these three women with a destiny. As they grow in their relationship with God, He creates a platform for them to share the overflow of the love that He has filled in their lives. Even if the women are from different generations and backgrounds, they all stand by the same conviction- that is to seek God with all their heart, soul and strength.
